XR-IT is the solution for prototyping and deploying high-fidelity collaborative Intraverses.
What's an Intraverse?
It's a private or user group specific (think: Intranet vs. Internet) spatial evironment that coalesces geographically dispersed locations into a shared virtual or mixed reality world.
Intraverses with XR-IT deliver secure collaborative spatial environments, where users across different physical locations can collaborate without the limitations of the 2D web. XR-IT provides a framework and tools that work together with industry standard solutions (think: games engines, motion capture systems, streaming...) so that the complexities of networks, firewalls, mundane configuration changes, and the like are resolved. The approach of XR-IT is to integrate best-of-breed industry standard (commercial and open source) solutions so that you can focus on creation and experimetation, not integration and networking.

Connecting ideas across diverse realities
XR-IT bridges the gap between physical and digital realms, empowering creators to:
> Collaborate Across Locations: connect motion capture systems, virtual environments, and teams across the globe. For example, real-time motion capture data can be streamed into multiple distributed instances of a games engine (such as Unreal Engine) from any other location while removing the need for custom network conifgurations.
> Virtual Production: XR-IT works as a dynamic toolset that revolutionises the way creative professionals work toegther across physcial locations in contextual real-time. XR-IT simplifies the complexity of virtual production workflows while enabling the delivery of new strategies such as Distributed Virtual Production (DVP).
> Immerse Creatives in the Virtual World: Directors, camera operators, and actors experience an unparalleled level of immersion. Using virtual reality (VR) and virtual cameras, directors can view every element in real-time, from virtual environments to remote collaborators.
> Prototype New Worlds: by leveraging emerging Metaverse standards, and integrating industry standard platforms, ceatives and researchers can quickly prototype new globally distributed, high-fidelity worlds, where the future of immersive collaboration in work, education and play will happen.
With a focus on accessibility, XR-IT introduces a user-experience-orientated web-based interface where the complex underlaying complexity of distributed systems in the spatial domain are abstracted into a language of functional production.
This intuitive platform empowers creators to experiment freely without technical barriers, opening up opportunities for innovation in spatial collaborataion across the fields of media production, engineering, education, and research.

A Quantum Story in the Intraverse
"Cat Content" is a 6-minute film which demonstrates the transformative power of XR-IT in narrative storytelling, becoming the first production created entirely within an Intraverse. You can now watch the official trailer here:
It parallels Schrödinger's quantum theories with the nature of Intraverse production itself - existing simultaneously in multiple realities, both digital and physical. The production seamlessly connected teams, motion capture systems, and virtual environments across multiple European locations in real-time. The movie showcases how XR-IT's framework enables creators to focus on storytelling rather than technical barriers, with actors performing in different physical spaces while sharing the same virtual world.
Beyond its technical achievement, "Cat Content" proves that Intraverse technology enhances rather than constrains artistic vision, delivering an emotionally resonant story about connection and understanding that exists, quite literally, in multiple dimensions at once. The film stands as a compelling demonstration of how XR-IT is not just reshaping production workflows but fundamentally reimagining how stories can be told across distributed realities.

Trans Realities Lab x European Media and Immersion Lab
"The Trans Realities Lab (TRL) at Design Academy Eindhoven (DAE) welcomes investment from the European Media and Immersion Lab (EMIL) as part of the EU's Horizon Europe programme. Likewise, the opportunity to test our solutions with the Lighthouse partners, including Aalto University, and Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg".
